Yippeee! Last week/weekend was a big week for my 30 by 30 list- I was able actually cross something off! On Saturday, I got my first ever MASSAGE!... and it was heavenly.
A few months ago I snagged a Google Offer for JUUT Salon. It had a restriction that you couldn't use it on a service that you have had in the past year, so I was limited to the spa services. After thoroughly searching the services on the web page I decided to settle on a massage and I chose to get the Aveda Chakra Massage. Here is how Juut describes this massage:

I was having an uber stressful couple of weeks so the words "relaxed, centered and rejuvenated" had me hooked! My masseuse was Jen G. at the Edina/Southdale Salon and she was amazing. The massage started with some aroma therapy and a deep tissue massage on my back and some meditation. Then I flipped over and it was time for some hot stones, hand and foot reflexology, and ended with more meditation. The foot reflexology had me falling in and out of sleep, if that could happen everyday I would be the most relaxed person ever.
I felt amazing afterwards and I didn't get sore like everyone had warned me. I could definitely feel a different energy flowing through me.
In case you were wondering... The meditation was concentratingon your chakras, the colors on the image below are the same, but Jen gave me a word as well to focus on.
